Algeria AI Hackathon 2026 is the first student-led AI hackathon organized from USTHB — Algeria's #1 STEM university — open to all Algerian university students. 🎯 THE CHALLENGE Build a working AI-powered application that addresses a real challenge in North Africa across 48 hours. 👥 WHO CAN JOIN • Any Algerian university student • Solo participants or teams of 2–4 • Any academic level (1st year to Master's) • Any discipline — CS, Medicine, Business, Engineering • No prior AI experience required 💡 THEMES • Education & E-Learning AI • Healthcare & Medical AI • Smart Governance & E-Services • Agriculture & Food Security • Arabic Language & NLP • Vision 2030 Digital Economy • Open Innovation (any AI application) 🏆 PRIZES 1st Place — Winner Certificate + LinkedIn recognition + Featured on national platforms 2nd Place — Certificate + Community recognition 3rd Place — Certificate + Community recognition All participants — Certificate of Participation + Access to Algeria AI Network 📍 FORMAT Hybrid — participate from anywhere in Algeria.
